Born and raised in southern California, Grant discovered a passion for wildlife, firearms and hunting at a young age. After receiving a degree in Wildlife Management from Humboldt State University, he worked for over a decade on a variety of wildlife projects throughout the west on species including: grizzlies, spotted owls, feral pigs, and cougars. He and his wife life in Montana, where he works for a national conservation organization and can't wait for fall so he can hunt elk with a lever action.
