Thank you for your interest in writing for Gadsden13. We’re looking forward to reading your stuff. But a word of warning! We’re particular about what guest articles we publish. If you want to increase the chances of your work going live on Gadsden13.com, please pay attention to these guidelines.
- A minimum of ~1000 words and a maximum of ~3,000 words
- Articles should follow the style of typical of Gadsden13 articles.
- Organized is a plus! Including an introduction and at least a couple sections with headings; short paragraphs are your friend.
- Articles should be properly-edited BEFORE sending.
We DO NOT select the topic of the article. That will be entirely up to you. However, if you pick a topic that does not fit with the Gadsden13 values, it will end up somewhere in a circular file. For your sake and ours, browse through the site and read through a few of the articles already published.
We think it goes without saying, but we’re going to say it anyway. If your article is plagiarized, spun, or in any other way ripped off. Don’t bother to send it. It’ll take us about 3 seconds to determine if you’ve ripped it off. Save everyone some time and energy.
We’ll take a look at all kinds of articles. We especially love epic hunting stories. You’ll have more success if you stay within these parameters:
- Gear Reviews
- DIY Projects
When submitting your article, please be sure to include your current contact information. After your item is submitted, we’ll review it and either reject it or accept it. If denied, you’ll hear crickets from us. If approved, you’ll hear from us via email within 2 weeks. We’ll also send you some FREE Gadsden13 Merch!
If your article gets rejected, don’t get mad. Life is full of rejection. If you let rejection stop you, you’d still be a virgin. Just try again.
